I purchased this Bluevua system in Nov 2022. I made the purchase specifically to: (i) save money from having to constantly purchase bottled water from the grocery store; and (ii) any bottled water delivery services available in my area were too expensive. I deliberately waited a long time before leaving a review because I wanted to be 100% certain of how this water filtration system worked - how well the machine operated, how consistently it performed, whether the taste of the water would remain consistent over time, and more importantly, what it would be like to change the filters. Having had this system for over a year, I strongly recommend this unit. I live in SoCal where the municipal water quality is such that a good filtration system is needed. First, the taste: I was always reluctant to buy a filtration system because I could never be sure of the taste, which I'm extremely sensitive to - it's the reason I always disliked Brita-type systems (which I've tried a few different ones) - the water always tasted vaguely weird and unpleasant ("turbidity" is the word I think some use). The Bluevua filtered water has the refreshing crispness that I like (it was its good taste that surprised me most). It continues to produce the same result the whole time I've been using it. Second, changing the filters: The instructions in the user manual are clear (there are also some instruction videos on YouTube as well); changing the different filters in and out has presented no confusion or problems; the filters last a nice amount of time - all four lasted a little over a year before the unit finally showed I needed to change some of them out. I think the cost of each of the filters is reasonable. Cleaning and care of the unit has been easy - wiping down the unit, washing the carafe, and washing the holding reservoir is simple and straightforward (just be sure to perform regular maintenance; I cleaning/wash everything about once every 3 or 4 months). Most importantly, I definitely achieved my previous stated goals with my purchase of this unit. The overall price of the unit is also reasonable and worth it if trying to find a cost-saving alternative. The only caution (but not a big deal) to mention is that, after each filtration cycle is complete, the holding reservoir has leftover water (which is normal). As the instructions say, you shouldn't try to reuse this water through another filtration cycle. I did, and you definitely notice a deterioration in taste. Instead, I use this leftover water to water plants, which has been great. I mention this in case you're located in an area where water-use bills might get high. In closing, if you're looking for a good, reliable, easy-to-use water filtration system that produces excellent results, you should definitely consider giving this system a try. Thanks for reading!

The Bluevua RO100ROPOT water filter system is a excellent solution for those who want a Reverse Osmosis (RO) System without the need for permanent installation. It effectively removes contaminants like chlorine, fluoride, iron, copper, and lead, improving the taste and odor of tap water. The setup is easy and requires no complicated installation. It takes 5 minutes to process 1 gallon of raw water into about .5 gallons off RO water. I like the Re-Mineralization filter being in the Carafe. I have 2 Carafes so I can add the necessary minerals we need for drinking with 1 Carafe. And, another Carafe without the Re-Mineralization for RO water for my Ultrasonic Humidifier. Maintenance is also hassle-free, with easily accessible filters. The durable RO100ROPOT filters remove 99.99% of contaminants and only require changing every 12-24 months. Better yet, you’ll never need to worry about missing a filter change as the intelligent reminder system will prompt you to do so, greatly serving you and your family premium quality water for years to come. Also, their Customer Support is excellent as they answered my questions the next day and even provided all of their Testing Results and Certifications without me asking. I give their support 10 Stars.
I did a lot of research and compared many RO countertop systems. I have local town water that has fluoride, PFAS, chlorine, and other unwanted contaminants present. My hard water also smells like chlorine and no one in my house will drink from the tap. We have a particulate filter in the basement that turns black with sediments very quickly. We also have an additional filter inside our refrigerator but I know that the fluoride and other chemicals can be missed by that filter. This may be acceptable for some but not for me and my family. In my quest for the right RO system, I was quite sick of the price jumping and gauging of other popular RO systems because of the holiday time of year. I would get notifications that a system I was researching was “on sale” only to click on it and discover it was $100 or more over the ad price. I also looked into customer reviews of these popular on TikTok and Facebook systems and learned that their customer service was terrible, or they have been waiting for their systems or filters and haven’t received them after months of waiting-but their credit cards were charged. I also read about certain systems leaking or being incredibly noisy. I did not want to add myself to that list of frustrated customers. The Bluevua got great reviews and I was ready to buy once Black Friday deals were solidified. With the discounted price, I purchased an additional set of filters and remineralizers as well. Once the unit arrived I unboxed it and followed the simple instructions. I had clean RO water within 20 minutes! The system is sleek in its design and is easy to fill/refill. It’s also quieter than I had expected after reading some reviews that these systems can be noisy when running. The whole family (5 of us) are using this system and loving the clear, clean water at the touch of a button. I purchased an extra carafe so I could keep a full one in the fridge. I highly recommend this system (the re-mineral cartridges are key)! They are worth the extra cost! I’m so happy with my Bluevua purchase!
This unit is a happy addition to my kitchen. It looks like it belongs there, sort of like a big coffee maker. It is easy to use and offers 4-filter cleansing of your water. If you haven't enjoyed the services of an RO unit you will be amazed at just how awful your tap water really is. You can taste the clean. First off, measure your counter and cabinets (or wherever you plan to use the machine). It barely fits under my cabinets, and when I swing it around to get at the waste tank (which happens multiple times a day), I can just clear the cabinets enough to access the tank. It works fine in my kitchen. Whoever designed it did a good job of sizing it just so for most kitchens. However, you may have issues with fit so measure before buying. Using the unit is easy and pleasant. It is quiet despite having an internal pump. Everything fits together beautifully. Glass carafe is nice, though it is a bit thin. You can get a replacement for $30 if you break it. But I do have one big concern regarding longevity -- and thus would strongly recommend you opt for the optional 4 year coverage. My big concern is the water tank. To use this unit you will be lifting the tank out multiple times a day, emptying the waste water and re-filling. You might also want to clean it from time to time. Given all this handling it worries me that the tank is made of not-so-durable materials and that the vital valves which keep the water in the tank (and not all over your counter) are built into the tank and are not user-replaceable. The tank is made of a type of plastic that is attractive, but prone to cracking. The valves themselves, and their seals, are vulnerable to deterioration. It would have been nice (if a bit industrial/unsightly) to build it from more durable plastic and have the valves be replaceable by the user. Or at least to offer a replacement tank assembly as a replacement part in the "maintenance" section of the site. But they didn't ,and I could just see this thing springing a leak sometime end of the one-year warranty. Amazon offers 4 year coverage at a reasonable price, and I would recommend it. I've had a bunch of RO units over the years. Most were "powered" by water tap pressure. The good ones used high-grade hoses and stainless steel fittings. So, I'm a bit worried when I see potmetal and thin plastic in vital components. But for user experience right out of the box, so far so good. Follow-up 4/24 Two years in, and I've now changed out the filters twice. This time I bought the "mineral recovery" attachment, so we'll see how that works out. The machine continues to work as it did when I bought it.

I began to like this Bluevua product before I had un-boxed it—the packaging was superior. Bluevua’s setup and operating instructions, along with the enclosed pamphlet, “A Mix of Green,” made the product easy-to-learn and use—and these materials provided me with a knowledge-level understanding of Bluevua’s efforts to 1) reduce environmental waste by using 100% recyclable packing materials, 2) reduce my (filtered water) expenses and my “plastics” environmental footprint, and 3) enhance my well-being by providing me with safe drinking water. All that was great, but my motivation to purchase this product was the current distilled water shortage in the Washington DC Metro Region. I needed distilled water for CPAP machines and humidifiers, and I grew weary of driving to stores and finding empty shelves. This Bluevua product definitely gets the job done—about five minutes to produce 1.7 liters of purified (and demineralized) water and fill the included “high borosilicate” glass carafe. The carafe seemed an ideal size to go in my refrigerator, but I hadn’t planned to do this since my refrigerator produced filtered water already: I may change my mind—more on this shortly. My household requires about three gallons of demineralized water per day during the heating season—that’s 90 plastic jugs per month, and adding to that, the time, effort, and fuel costs to locate and bring those gallon jugs of water to my home, well—my Bluevua purifier, if it added no value beyond preventing that waste, would (to me) be well worth the cost outlay. While the performance specifications for this Bluevua unit are impressive, we’d like to confirm them somehow—but for most of us, that’s not feasible. All I can say is, the water tastes great—which is my subjective judgement. Looking for something more objective? Check out the four photos of the Bluevua display after producing 1.7L of water from four sources 1) city tap water, 2) Britta filter pitcher, 3) my refrigerator’s filter, and 4) the Bluevua’s own purified water. The display depicts Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in the source water (left number) and in the Bluevua-purified water (right number) in Parts per Million (ppm). What do these photos suggest? On the face of it, it looks like 1) city water’s hard, but safe to drink, 2) my Britta pitcher’s not adding much value, 3) I may need to replace my fridge filter (I did, but it made little difference), and 4) the Bluevua’s source water still had a fair amount of TDS. What (at minimum) is wrong with my observations is that I didn’t back-flush the system between samples—ain’t gonna happen. I’m quite satisfied with the water Bluevua’s purification, since it meets my needs. The only weak points that I have observed have to to with the source/waste water tank. The handle-to-tank attachment point—I hope it’s not as fragile as it looks. And because this is a countertop unit; that is, not connected to the household drain, the rejected water—with all the filtered TDS—is deposited in the tank. You can’t “run” this water through the purifier because doing so will shorten the lives of the filters—tank water must be discarded (I water plants with it). The tank holds about 3.25L of water, and filling it to the “max” line yields up to 1.7L of purified water. Therefore, if you require less than 1.7L of purified water, don’t fill the tank to the max. You can select four quantities of water—up to 1.7L—of purified water, and it would be useful to have markings on the tank to indicate the minimum amount of water required to produce each of the four desired quantities. I plan to determine these levels, and mark my tank accordingly. In conclusion, I like this product, and provided I continue to like it, I’ll probably purchase and intall one of Bluevua’s under-the-counter units; that is, after I reach break-even on this one. Okay, ‘nuff said.
I love this machine for the design, ease of use, digital information, the glass carafe and clean tasting water. The bucket that you fill has a handle that folds down and two indentations on the side to grab hold of. I am small and have a bad shoulder; the design allows me to easily fill it, lift it and put it into place. It tucks nicely under my upper cabinets and is a cinch to move to fill and put back into place. I love this water filter!!!!! I called customer service asking for the data on the mineral filter and am thrilled with the report they sent me and the email below: Thank you for reaching out to us. This is Cara from Bluevua Support. I have heard details from our phone agent Rochelle who received your call yesterday. It is fantastic to hear that you are loving your RO countertop system and I am more than happy to provide you with the information you are looking for: First and foremost, please accept my sincere apology for the lack of information on our website regarding the mineral balls used in the Remineralization Filter. Please allow me to clarify their composition and purpose for you. There are two types of mineral balls in the filter: 1. Silver gray Magnesium granules - These are made of 99.5% pure magnesium and contribute to adding essential magnesium back into the water. 2. Gray Hydrogen ORP ball - The main ingredients of these balls are magnesium, zinc, tourmaline, Far-infrared powder, and silica. These balls work to add essential minerals necessary for proper human development and health, such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and others that are commonly found in natural mineral waters. Both mineral balls have undergone rigorous testing and have been approved by SGS-independent labs. They meet the content limits for cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBDEs, and PBBs, as set by the RoHS directive (EU) 2002/95/EC amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU. You can trust that they are safe and healthy for you and your family! We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the missing information on our website, which should have included the info above for you in first-hand. Our marketing team has acknowledged this issue and is currently working on releasing an updated version, which will allow us to provide more information in the future. Your inquiry means a lot to us, and it is great that you felt comfortable getting in touch. Please feel free to ask me anything else that comes to mind or express any concerns you may have. I am always available and happy to help you in any way I can. Wishing you continued enjoyment of your ROPOT! Further more; I replied to the email above and received the loveliest response from Cara. In these days customer service like this is extremely rare and very much appreciated. I wish this company great success. Update June 2024. It has been a year since my purchase and I remain thrilled with my Bluevua. I just replaced the filters and had to contact customer service with a few questions. The answers came swiftly and is as amazing now as before. STELLAR PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! GREAT COMPANY!!!!!!!
We are full-time RVers currently camping in Texas. The water here is not great: over 600 ppm total dissolved solids (TDS). We were previously using a Zero-Water system. It previously worked great, but in Texas the filters started failing after about a week, likely due to the high number of TDS. Rather than continuing to go through the $10+ filters every week, we bought the Bluevua ROPOT system. This thing is great! It has a 5-stage filtration system, including reverse osmosis and UV, and our water has never tasted better! We are bit disappointed by the amount of wastage (about 50%), but so far that is our only complaint. Hopefully the filters will last as long as advertised, as they are not cheep, but absolutely no complaints on the quality of the water this thing produces. We've started using it for coffee, cooking, and with our pet cat. Yummy!

I've spent hours comparing EVERY countertop RO system and THIS one blows the competition out of the water. In fact, I ordered another model first (due to price: big mistake) and after being so disappointed, gave this one another chance. FYI, I have not received any compensation for my review: after drinking dirty water (that I THOUGHT was purified for the last decade), I'm just that excited to have found this machine lol. First of all, countertop RO systems are fairly new to the market, and though they're a wonderful idea for renters, are still working out some design flaws. Bluevua, for whatever reason, seems to be the only company that has most of them figured out. Here's my pros and (very few) cons: PROs: 1. Bluvua IS THE ONLY COMPANY that does NOT dispense CLEAN water into a PLASTIC RESERVOIR. All those other brands that dispense your water out of that neat little spout? They ALL store your water in plastic. "Oh, but it's BPA free!" Guess what? BPA is one of NUMEROUS carcinogenic plastics, and they all leach into your water, even when cold. Just don't do plastic, guys. Anyway, the glass carafe is a must. 2. Unlike other competitors (looking at you, waterdrop), Bluevua actually supports their claim and filters out 90%+ of the TDS. Looking at my pic, we've got NASTY well water, and 652 to 33TDS is remarkable. By comparison, the Waterdrop N1 I first purchased only filtered out 60-70% TDS. RO systems are the gold standard for purified water, so you want to maximize their potential. 3. The company is VERY transparent. For every question I asked, I received a detailed answer, complete with NSF certification and independent lab results. A lot of competitors don't disclose that information, which is ultra-shady imo (Waterdrop and Icepure didn't). Speaking of shady, this model has NOTHING to do with Kflow. They sent me the documents on the civil case surrounding Kflow, so don't let Kflow's poor reviews deter you. 4. The interface is great. You know your TDS in, TDS out as well as the longevity of the filters (displays like an old-school phone battery, which I like). 5. Maybe I'm naive to reverse osmosis, but it's the only four-stage filtration system I've found that includes 4 distinct filters. Most include two, which, according to the results I had with Waterdrop, seems to be inadequate. Perhaps this is facile, but one filter for each stage is more reassuring to me than knowing one filter has to perform two functions. 6. Filters only need to be changed every 12-18 months. If I recall correctly, that works out to about $120-160 annually, which is a FRACTION of what I was paying before. Granted, my water is worse than city water, so I may need to change them more frequently, but there's no way I'll surpass what I was paying before. 7. Water filters surprisingly fast. I was worried it'd take an hour to fill the pitcher, but no, that baby is full in 5 minutes flat. 8. It's not nearly as bulky as it looks! Now for the few areas of critique: 1. Though it's not bulky, I do wish the water tank held a little more water. Basically, after every full carafe, you have to dump the remainder and refill it. It's not a huge inconvenience, but I've started to keep a second pitcher of water in the fridge. If it'd make the machine substantially larger, forget it, but just if I could get two pitchers-worth of water out of one tank, I'd be elated. 2. This is a problem with ALL countertop ROs, but the wastewater is dumped back into the intake tank. IDK if there's any way to rectify that, but I think that's why the TDS is never as low as an undersink model. Either way, if you're on the fence, BUY THIS MODEL. Don't drink plastic; don't drink fluoride; and don't drink heavy metals - your body will seriously thank you.
I finally caved and bought this; After the first 2 pitchers my test margined hit the low numbers for drinking water very close to the number bottled water is! Finally no more having to run out to get cases of water since my old pitcher filter option I had wasn’t doing the trick anymore. Yes it has a lot of left over water. Mine leaves half of the water tank half full with water it doesn’t want you to drink. But if you fill the remaining half it still makes a full pitcher and leaves half of the tank of water it doesn’t want you to use. Of course I tried re-running a full pitcher cycle with the half a tank of water and only got 1-2inches in the pitcher to drink then it stopped and said I needed to add more water Is this a helpful trick to not have so much waste way🤷🏻♀️? Wouldn’t hate it if so. Water tastes so clean! Packaging was seriously incredible! Amazon box Then 2 boxes just for the product Very stable support inside holding everything together IT DOES COME WITH A RE-MINERALIZER filter that attaches inside the pitcher I did not know that so I bought 2 for $35 so now I’m set with that for over a year. I ran the re-mineralizer filter under cold water from the tap for less than a minute because it did not have soaking instructions for that. It just said with the minerals sitting the first 2 pitchers would be cloudy. Mine were not cloudy. Took a few tries for it to make a full pitcher ones I got the first one it was a breeze. Love that it already had the other filters in place on the side compartment Make sure you open it as it has packaging inside cushioning the filters for shipping. Only thing I was not happy about is that it had water inside the water tank. I was worried I bought a used one even though I never selected that. I’m guessing maybe it was a factory test done? Because to pack it all back in just so perfect after opening means it never goes back the same. So as of right now I absolutely recommend this product! I also love that you can take it with you if you move or maybe travel? I’ve seen people use ones like this in RVs This is in my kitchen at home but for anyone that maybe be moving from house to house or apartment to wherever it’s not a hard line set up under the sink you have to worry about. Just need counter space. Or a shelf of any sort. With the ratio I listed above with the water tank staying at half and topping it off if that is a helpful tip then this would be great in an office as long as you have water in the office that can be dumped to be filtered. A few other notes; It seems all RO systems have the “waste water” so the ones under the sink send the “waste water” away. This system the waste water is left in the water tank. It was a bit difficult for me to remove the water tank for my first dump out but I’ve only had to dump it one time experimenting with it. I have made at least 6-8 full pitchers as I don’t plan to make a pitcher each time I want water. I have filled up a gallon jug for now to have on hand and ready as I am using this water for myself, my dog and my ice machine. Another thing I figured out with this system compared to the UV system the ONLY DIFFERENCE is this does not have the UV They both have the re-mineralizer So it’s up to you if you want to pay the extra $ for the UV option Otherwise they are 99% the same unless the display is different then that would be another difference between the 2. Having this be a 4 step filter system verse the 5 step I think it’s well worth it especially since other ones are only a 2 step filter system. It appears some filters need changed every 6months and another after a year. Of course it all goes off of the amount of water filtered out. I thought it said it’s good for 297 gallons but can’t find the number anymore Also was super confusing in the “perks of this verse bottled water” like how many bottles of water are saved. Whoever made that does not know math as 6 bottles of water fill a 1 gallon jug full So if it’s good for 297 gallons of water That’s $1,782 bottles of water saved Happy decision making! Hope this is somewhat helpful I also looked at this as an investment to the cost I would spend having to have bottled water and driving to buy 3 cases of water at a time as I don’t shop often The space this takes up is obviously way less compared to cases of water
I spent the greater part of 2024 researching reverse osmosis counter-top units trying to find the best one for my family and I. We usually spend about 2000 dollars per year on bottled water for our family of 5, soon to be 6. Between coffee, kids glasses of water, baby bottles, cooking, it goes fast. Deciding on one system was not easy, as anyone attempting to navigate those waters can tell you so it took us a very long time and many tension headaches to find the right one. We chose this unit because of the size as well as the reports of customer satisfaction, not just with the unit itself, but the quality of the water, and the customer service if the need were to arise. So far, after using it for a week, it has surpassed our wildest dreams. The unit does not take up very much more space than a large coffee maker, and the water is the most wonderfully pure flavor I have ever tasted, even moreso than the glass bottled variety. The whole process from removing the tank, to filling it up in our sink, to placing it on the machine and starting it takes only about 6 minutes before the glass is full. We bank our water in glass jars to use throughout the day so we are never inconvenienced by the process. Once you work out how much you use, it's easy to have the day's water ready to go. Our tap water is not the best and this has really given us a tremendous peace of mind. We could not be happier with the quality and the value of this wonderful machine. I highly recommend it.

I bought the Bluevua countertop reverse osmosis water purifier on sale recently, to improve my drinking water quality and in addition to other contaminants, to also avoid micro & nanoplastics. I had been using a PUR plastic carbon filter with a plastic tank but that didn’t solve the issue of plastic exposure. So far, I’m pleased with the new unit. It’s very straightforward to set up, has nice controls, and you filter into a glass carafe (clean water) from a plastic tank (tap water). Apparently the filters do remove microplastics although there is no mention of nanoplastic removal. The contaminants (Total Dissolved Solids or TDS) go from 175 in the raw tap water to 4 or 5 in the purified water. After purification, the water is remineralized by passing through a cassette located below the lid of the carafe. The manufacturer recommends the remineralization filter, otherwise the purified water absorbs CO2 and becomes acidic. Purified, remineralized water tastes great, and the beauty is that it comes from my tap. This is a marked improvement in my drinking water and for $335 (includes the $80 coupon), I believe this was an excellent choice.

We did a taste test with about 15 different bottled water brands and my home gravity filter in a pitcher from the company that starts with a "B." While some of the bottled water was surprising, the biggest surprise was none of the four of us liked my home filtered water. My son has the smaller version of this reverse osmosis machine and told me to get it. Well, I went big and boy am I happy I did! I don't know how to describe the water other than it tastes clean and I'm happily drinking lots of it. The machine footprint is about the size of a coffee maker and requires a power connection. The reverse osmosis process takes just a few minutes at full capacity. You have to dump a bit of the tank water at the end, as the machine sort of spits back some of the filtered particles into that tank, while the glass pitcher is good pure water. I use the mineral element, which is recommended for drinking water. My unit is still very new, so I can't comment on long term reliability or whether the cannisters last as long as expected, but I'm very happy with the purchase and will update after a year or so of use.

The one real down side is this Ro system has only one tank, so you have to dump half a tank of water ( reject water after filter ) , which is a pain to pull the tank all the time. If it had a drain valve or a 2nd tank that would be great see the test results below, I have been using this filter since April 2024. The company has been very responsive. I received a unit where the RO Unit didn't work, but they promptly sent me a new one and now the machine shows an out TDS of around 24. My tap is 350. The initial defective unit was showing 99 (max value the lcd screen can show) because the TDS out was 240 since only the carbon filters were working. The company said they have an ongoing legal dispute with KFlow which was the initial distributor and they were doing unethical stuff like reselling old filters. I'm not sure why I received a defective unit now that they cut ties with kflow. I was suspicious the entire time almost just getting a refund. But the company worked to make it right and ultimately I got the product I expected. The out tds is now 24, and the remineralizer which attaches to the glass jug only increased it to 31. From what I read is that you need a good amount of minerals in your water and a tds of 50-150 is good. So now a bit concerned about not getting enough minerals. May buy something separate in addition to this to add more.

I absolutely love this thing, with a few drawbacks. If you can, I would advise getting an udersink variation, as this takes up a lot of time and counterspace in comparison. Also, I live by myself, and have to fill this thing 2-3 times a day so if you have any more than 2 people I'd think that the hassle of refilling again and again would be painful. I use this water for everything possible: -Ice -Pasta/Rice water -Humidifier -Coffee -Essential oil diffuser -etc. I would bathe in it if I could. It tastes so smooth that it has ruined all other water for me, and I only want my RO water. It's to the point where I bring a full water bottle every time I leave the house. (helps keep me hydrated!) I did a fair amount of research before buying, and this seemed to be my best option for my situation as I couldn't install an undersink unit. This thing is expensive but it works. If you are consuming the water, be sure to ALWAYS use the remineralizer attatchment. This is because plain RO water is so pure that it will actually pull nutrients/minerals out of your body, ironically dehydrating you. It can also cause long term effects in the body. Same goes for DI or distilled water. One comes included and needs replacing only every 6 motnhs or so. Use it. I've filled the carafe about 100 times or so in the past month and here are a few things I've learned: 1. There is a surprising amount of waste water that takes some getting used to 2. The tank when filled to max fills about 1 and 1/5 carafes, which is annoying. To combat this fill the tank to about an inch below max so that the water runs out before filling the carafe. This way it wastes a bit less water and I need to refill the tank with every carafe. I would recommend this for ease of use. 3. The TDS-in increases throughout the fill process due to the waste water being pumped out and concentrating in the remaining water. 4. The TDS-out is NEVER zero, but for me, where the water isn't too bad, averages around 7, which I'd say is pretty good. Sometimes, it spikes somewhere in the middle of the fill to the low 20's as shown in the 2nd picture. However thats the worst I've seen it. At least its honest and accurate, and it isn't something you would likely get in an undersink application. To simplify, I'll make a pros and cons; PROS: - Extremely effective at removing contaminants such as fluoride, pesticides, or even microplastics. A feature unattainable from jug filters like Brita or Zero water -Water tastes amazing, especially with the remineralizer. Awesome for infused water as well. -TDS reader is a really cool feature -Easy to operate, get used to it quickly -Automatic backflush -High quality overall, especially the Glass carafe CONS: -can be tedious to fill and refill -Waste water is more than expected -Has a fairly large footprint, in my small apartment it takes up a lot of counterspace -Expensive -Max fill tank is an odd amount of water, only one full carafe per tank -the different fill settings are a bit hard to gauge if the carafe isn't empty. (S:0.5L M:1L L:1.7L) TL:DR Buy this if you want to properly protect yourself from the vast array of contaminants in your water, or if you want some water so tasty that it changes your way of living. Worth the money and counter space if you can spare it.
Good: 1. The total desolved solids level is generally between low 30s to mid 40s for each pot, where scale won't develop in your kettles or coffee machines. The indicator on the machine low-balls it usually showing low teens. If you remove the remineralizer, the TDS drops to the 20s. 2. Testing the water with an aquarium kit, the carbonate hardness (KH) is about mid 30s ppm and the general hardness (GH) is about 50 ppm. 3. It is smaller and quieter than the Xiaomi countertop I had for 6 years before selling it. 4. Water tastes sweet, clean and clear. It made coffee and tea much clearer and tasted less cloudy. Improvements: 1. Put the reset filter button on the front screen instead of hiding it inside the filter compartment. 2. The output dropped from 1.7L to 1.4L after two months of use. I added water above the max line to compensate and it's back up to 1.6L. 3. The filtering speed can be faster. It takes about five minutes per carafe. My last unit had a hose connected to the facuet from the filtering tower. That unit was a lot faster, more than twice as fast. 4. Improve the accuracy of TDS meter. I used another meter to check the water quality after each filtration. The TDS is 3x the one stated on the machine. It's still acceptable but nowhere near the low teens as shown on the screen. 5. The filters are smaller than the ones I had on the Xiaomi countertop system by about half, so that could explain the higher TDS levels. I always got under 20 with Xiaomi. Now, this unit shows mid-30s-40s. But it's a smaller unit and the filters are less than half of my last countertop unit, so it's not a knock. My last unit was the size of a 90's desktop computer. 6. The price could be better. A sink unit would cost much less, but a tank takes up a lot of space under the sink. The convenience is the tradeoff for the higher price. Unknowns: 1. The three smaller filters are supposed to last a year, and the RO one, for two. Lets see how long they last before it needs changing.

The filter does the job. My comments will mirror the positives of what everyone is saying. It cleans water, very very well. Testing the TSS levels in the water, lowered tap from 130 or so to the low single digits. However, after getting an EMF reader, I went around the house to survey readings. I came across the Ropot and was surprised to find a high reading. I then unplugged the unit. Yet, it still have off a reading of 50 V/m. The attached pictures inform. As a reference, 3V/m is considered normal. Over 3V/m, one is advised to check regularly. 50V/m and over, one is advised not to stay in the area for long. Other appliances that are similar to this are monitors and alarms that have radio frequencies or may use some material that gives off a strong electric field. The unit does its job. It's what's hidden that's concerning. I reached out to the company twice. They advanced their accreditation that they meet legal standards. I reached out again. Same result after asking if a non-UV unit would cause the same effect. If you have this in your house, maybe unplug it and put some distance between it and you. If not in use, use EMF cloth to cover it up if one has any interest in addressing this concern.
Received on 1/25/25 Pleased with this unit so far. Learning curve is relatively small. General day to day use is a little less convenient than an under sink system, but will pay dividends on ease of changing the filters when that time comes. On my personal wish list: the carafe - it’s feels a bit heavy when it’s full of water. The handle feels awkward but might be better if it were a bit lower on the carafe. Also, wish there was an option to upgrade this with a stainless steel or food grade plastic carafe. That glass just seems to be too delicate, like the slightest bump will shatter it. Also would like to have an option to turn the remineralization filter on or off instead of having to disconnect it. I use RO water in my humidifier and don’t need mineralized water for this purpose. So, pleased for now overall. Will update if anything changes

Very surprised with the quality, I tried a different RO filter, but this was definitely a way better product. Love that it dispenses quickly, we have a carafe and a separate pitcher in the fridge to store cold water in after we run it through the system. The display is great to see status of the filters and the TDS in/out. I also use the mineral filter on the pitcher and it makes the water quality taste just as good as bottled water you’d buy at the store. Saving a lot of $$$ vs the deliveries we were paying for (kept going up in monthly cost so we needed an alternative). This was a great investment for sure and highly recommend. We’re about 6 months in and the filters have gone down only one bar (our TDS is about 300-437).

I filtered tap water, it was 690 in, 31 out. Then I filtered already filtered water, and it was showing me 382 in, 31 out. If I pour the clean “31” water in, how’s it possible that the indicators are showing 382 in. Company’s explanation (really appreciate taking time to explain this to me): The high IN TDS reading you observed is definitely normal and can be explained by the fact that there are still water residues from the last round of filtration inside the tubes: Even if the RO reject water is fully discarded, some residues left by the water last round may remain inside the tubes. The feed water for this round is actually a mixture of filtered water (31 ppm) and raw water from the previous cycle(690 ppm). Thus, the actual TDS level of the feed water that permeates through the RO membrane is much higher than 31, leading to a final TDS measurement of 382 ppm. This reading reaffirms the precision and functionality of the machine's probe. If you continue to filter water for several cycles using filtered water, you should notice a gradual decrease in the TDS reading.
Received the unit with DTS sensor but the out water reading was not working properly, always showing 99. Called customer service in two days and after going through the checking procedure the rep said he will refer to the support team. The support team called and briefly went through a little different process for checking. And we were advised a new unit will be shipped immediately which we received in 2-3 days which worked beautifully. The customer support person, Robyn, was on the communication at all times and resolved all matters promptly. We had the most pleasant experience through Robin and recommend the product very highly. Water tastes great and the real glass carafe is really charming. The customer service is the greatest and one can rest assured that you will be taken care of.

Bluevua has tried hard to make the process as easy as possible and on the whole I like this system better than any of the others I have used. We love having the display that measures solids in both the incoming and processed water. We ordered the bundle with an extra caraffe and were disappointed it did not come with a remineralization filter. At a full production of 1.7 liters it exactly fills our Black and Decker coffee maker. One head scratcher: it comes with a wicked looking plunger or brush and no instructions on how or where to use it.

So far I love it. It’s pretty quick to fill. I personally didn’t have any hazy or weird colored water for my first times as it mentioned in the instructions. Not sure why. I live in LA, so wanted a filter after the fires and thank god I got one! The ratings for the tap water has been between 580-750! The only weird thing is that the water tank in the back doesn’t stay put back there unless there’s water in it. So I don’t dump out the water until I’m ready to refill it. It bothered me for awhile but I’m used to it now. Photo attached.

I wanted a reverse osmosis system, but I didn’t want the expense and the installation and everything of under the sink and didn’t know if I wanted to take up that much room. Somehow, I saw this and liked what it said and the reviews. I looked at independent studies that also had this as one of the best. I’m very glad I got the UV one because that keeps it “self cleaning” so there isn’t any bacteria buildup in the reservoir which I have read as a negative for the other model that does not have UV, so spend the extra money! It comes with a little mineral add on for the lid of the carafe that screws right into the lid, and ordered extras of those and an extra carafe because I keep one carafe in the refrigerator for cold water at all times. The other pitcher I brew mostly for my cats water and coffee. All the water that’s been filtered out waters the plants outside so it’s a win-win all the way around. I always gave my cats bottled or pitcher filtered water but since the day I started using this, there has not been one upset stomach or vomiting at all. None! I started making my large 2 inch ice cubes and round craft ice with this water and stopped the icemaker that was built into my inside freezer. It’s a very expensive huge fridge that was originally $16,000 (came with the house ) but the ice tasted terrible and it comes in from sink water and there is no filter. I felt gross anytime I added ice to anything and now all I taste is clean clean clean. When I first got it, I did more than the five flushes, about seven or eight to get the filters going and any residue out. I decided for the heck of it to check my Mavea/Britta pitcher filtered water too. The tap water was around 550 so super poor quality and it should be 30 or below. I have a Malvea water pitcher which was Britta‘s premium water pitcher that they no longer make, but you can still buy filters for. I had just changed the filter within two weeks and when I ran that water through the machine, it was approximately 650! Worse than tapwater! Then I started researching more and those filters hold in bacteria. So when I thought I was giving my cats better water, I wasn’t. On another note, some things to know if you have problems with acid like me. The mineralization really helps because it adds more minerals back in plus it makes the water less acidic which RO water tends to be slightly acidic. That will also make the number slightly higher with the minerals added, so don’t let it make you think your water isn’t as low as it should be, but it will still stay low for the output water. It’s very easy to fill and carry. You can use a jug and fill the reservoir easily or carry it by the handle and put it in the sink and fill it to the waterline . And obviously easy to carry the spent water to water your plants. It’s also super quiet. Three of the filters need to be changed about every year and the RO filter approximately every two years. The mineralization every six months. I’m thrilled with the size, appearance, functionality, and the obvious improvement adding to healthy lifestyle. Love it!
I have had the machine for a month and use it several times a day. it is simple to use and works quickly. Within 2 minutes you have a full carafe of purified water. I ordered the model with the extra minerals (although I have yet to put it on). It takes longer to unpack the system than to use. You must run it through several times first so that all the filtration tanks get saturated with water. At first, hardly anything came out but once I ran water through the system 5 times, water started to fill up the carafe. I like the model I ordered because you do not need to order new filtration cartridges for about a year. It also has UV light which helps kill more bacteria. Please note, there is a little, thin, elongated button right above the ON button. That regulates how much water the system will make. If you want a full carafe of water, please make sure the last little "flashing cup" is highlighted. If you just press the button once, only one little flashing cup will be highlighted and you will only get about 1/3 of the carafe filled. If you press the elongated button twice, you will get 2 flashing cups on the digital display; then you will get about a half of carafe of clean water. Also, each time you want to make a carafe of water, remove the water container (very easy) and fill it. For some reason, the water container must be removed; fill it back up with water and then snap the water container back into place. The lid for the water container slips on (there is a little notch) but does not fasten or snap into place. It just sits there. The water is tasteless!! No chlorine smell or taste!! Of course, if you use the little mineral container, the water will probably have some sort of taste but like I said, I have not used mine yet. If you are in a hurry and need to do big batches of water at a time, then order a second glass carafe (you only get one). There are only two of us, so for me it was not necessary. We also give our little white dog the purified water and the tear stains around the eyes have greatly diminished. Supposedly, high content of minerals in the drinking water can cause worse tear stains; however, I would suggest giving all your house animals purified water. We love them right? Why would we want to give them tap water? (YUK) Dr. G
Water tastes great. Have only used unit a few days. Easy to setup and use. Good instructions. Based on bottled water costs here, at a normal use rate of 2 gallons per day, the unit will pay back the initial cost in less than 5 months. Will update if filter life becomes an issue.
In our small town, we're served by a local community water system. I've known for years the water quality was less than stellar. Purchased a few water quality kits with results reporting high mineral content. Our neighbor has one of these units and suggested I look at the specs. We purchased this unit last year and we are able to tell the difference in taste and clarity. We also have less buildup in our coffee makers, a clear indicator of hard water. After 10 months, the indicators showed time to change the filters. We cleaned the unit and changed the filters and the system still functions well.
I purchased this unit a year and a half ago, and it worked perfectly until recently when the screen light stopped turning on. I reached out to Customer Service, and they responded promptly, offering a replacement unit—even though my product was already out of warranty. The new unit works flawlessly, and I couldn't be more satisfied. It's reassuring to know that the company truly stands behind its product and goes the extra mile to support its customers.

I had been using a Brita filter until I came across this. I did a few experiments with this. I filled it with tap water, Brita filtered water, and RO water this created. The pictures are labeled showing the results for each one. Do your research before believing RO water is bad to drink. This works great. Water tastes fine. Even coffee tastes better. I am using this for my humidifiers too and I no longer have white film sticking to everything plastic.
This is an excellent reverse osmosis machine. I have brought two of them. It reduces the Total dissolved solids by approx 93-98%, and I even tested it with a third party tester multiple times and the numbers are consistent (albeit a slight variance). At one location (CT) it reduces from 999+ to about 65, and in the other (Washington DC) it reduces from 350 to about 10. I haven't had to replace any of the filters in either and i've had them for several months. Easy to clean and easy t use what else are you asking for?
Fantastic! My wife thinks I'm a genius! I bought this one and the ropot lite uv for our camp. I can never find distilled water in the store. I need it for my Cpap machine and humidifiers for the winter season. If you take off the mineral filter for this use, and then for drinking water put it back on. The water is silky smooth and tastes incredible This water is safe for your pets too. This is what you have been looking for!!

Our well water has a TDS reading of over 600. The taste is bad enough that we purchase water in gallons for cooking and drinking. I read a lot of reviews and settled on this unit. What really sold it for me was the built-in UV light to kill any microbes in the water. The water that comes out is odorless and has none of the bad taste from the raw well water. The TDS of the processed water is always less than 8. I have to agree with several other reviewers: There is some water that leaks from the reservoir when removing from the unit. I place a towel on the table to absorb what leaks out. It's annoying that a proper seal cannot be engineered to totally seal the port but it's not a deal breaker in my opinion. We use approximately 1.5 gallons per day. I run the ROPOT twice a week and it easily kicks out all the water we need. Overall, this unit is with the investment.

Going to give another update in 6 months from now. But just opened the package yesterday. Set up the machine and ran 5 cycles on it. Did one more just in case (6 total) at first you will see a lot of grey clouds forming in the tank and cloudy water being produced. So that’s normal… I have a Brita and when I put tap water into that.. I could always taste the chlorine or whatever it is that my building uses to make tap water safe enough for us to use. NGL when I drank that 7th cycled water. Tap water has no taste whatsoever. It was like bottled water.. it was so much better!!! Now I use my Brita to hold on to the RO water since it’s a bigger tank and I’m set. Will come back in 6 months … let’s see how it holds up.

What a wonderful new water processing systen !!!!!! Finally, I feel confident about the purity of the water we drink....and we drink a lot of it! I even put it into the dish for the cat....why not? He's part of the family, too!!! I highly recommend the Bluevua Reverse Osmosis System Countertop edition !!!!!!! Best of all, it's SO EASY to operate!!!!! I fill the reservoir once a day...which works perfectly for my husband, cat and I ....and my husband and I tend to drink quite a bit each day !!! Delighted with this product !!!!!
I have never liked the taste of water that has come out of RO Units, so I was very hesitant to purchase this... BUT I have been drinking only Evian for many years & have recently read several alarming articles about microplastics, so I thought I should at least give this a try. The remineralization ability drew me to this one since removing all the minerals was also a concern for me. To my surprise, the water I get from this particular unit tastes amazing! I find myself drinking even more water now that before I purchased it. I purchased a small "lite" unit in different brand for the office. I thought since it also had remineralization it would probably taste about the same - NOPE. The water from the other brand's unit tasted terrible to me even using the remineralization. I returned it to get the small unit in this same brand for the office. If you are looking, I would highly recommend choosing this brand. I also ordered a second carafe so that I can always have a cold full one waiting in the refrigerator. So glad I did too.
First, let me say, I love this, and even though there is comment, it is not a complaint (hence the 5 star review) In the water reservoir in the rear, you must add water there in the beginning, and remove the waste in the end... the cover has no tiny handle on top. It is flat so it is hard to grab it. That said, it would be great to have one so it would be easier to remove it or put it back. I use this reservoir cover constantly, and I am always concerned it will fall in the water... it never does, but it feels like it will. There is a handle on the inside (to lift the entire thing-which I do use-, but it would be great to have something small to grab at the top of the cover, too.
After I changed the annual filters 1, 2, and 4 for the first time, the machine worked for a while then stopped and locked up so the water-fill button wouldn't work. Received help online in minutes and they walked me through how to fix the problem. When you change the filters, must select the filter reset button, then select 1, 2, or 4 water levels and then select the water-fill button, each time changing the water tank. That worked, but it's not explained this way in manual. Love this machine and the water!
We did not want to drill into our granite cabinet and opted for a counter-top model. In 10 months this has been easy to use. We have very salty fresh water on Cape Cod.
It is criminal how refreshing the water is! You're telling me water can taste this great. I've had plenty of filters before, RO included—but nothing like this, I've never cracked a smile like this drinking water. Five stars, you've earned a new loyal customer!
I love this machine. Customer service helps you with your issues too. Great service. Although, my water comes from a well, and I have a filtration (large tank) system, I use the Bluevua water system for cooking and drinking. This is my second machine. The filters last too. I highly recommend this water system.
I went from a SimPure that started leaking water to this unit. It's been a month and so far I love it! It looks and feels like it's better quality. I recommend getting the WARRANTY on this unit JUST IN CASE.
Terrific product! I bought it mostly to purify water for my humidifiers - I was tired of buying and dragging home 25-30 gallons of distilled water each week. The RO water works great - no residue at all in the humidifiers. I also had an occasion to contact customer support and they were outstanding - very prompt and helpful. I'm extremely happy with my purchase; I only wish I had bought it sooner!
This is the best water I’ve ever had! We have had this for 8 months and currently have more than half the filter life on all filters. We have the remineralization filter on ours and love the taste of the water and the quality is hard to beat.

This product is just amazing! Makes the water taste so good, crystal clear! I can’t drink any other water after trying this! I highly recommend it
We are satisfied with our purchase, but there are a few points I would like to share with others who are considering buying this product. In our opinion, the water processed by this machine tastes more like spring water than purified water. If you prefer purified water, this may not be the best option for you. However, we have found a solution for obtaining purified water using this machine. You can run the water through the machine twice: after the first cycle, store the water in a separate gallon bottle, and then process it again. After the second cycle, the water is as pure as the purified water you would typically buy from stores.
Very easy to use. Started using it right away. The water tastes better than the bottled water we were buying. We have the UV model and we are using the ph/minerals pod in the caraffe.
I live next to two farmers... I've lived at my current residence since 2017 and my health has just gotten worse and worse and worse. Any time I drink water from the faucet, I itch like crazy and having breathing issues. Literally half the jug is waste water. I am not even joking... In just two days of use, I'm itching less and my breathing has improved... I am aware that can be placebo affect/effect. But man... im not having head aches either. It's something I've wondered about... We'll see how this goes... But my body is begging me for more and more of this RO water... I just made coffee with it so we'll see if I react to my coffee or not. I'm definitely probably going to be buying a 2nd or 3rd unit eventually due to meal prepping and cooking and wanting to do a in home garden...
I have 3 across several homes. They work well, within their limitations. Making half a gallon of water takes several minutes, then you need to replace the reservoir. It has built in TDS meter on it, which lies both about how dirty water in is, and how clean water output is. I bought a bunch of standalone TDS meters that all seem to approximately agree with each other, but not the sensor in the filter. For example, the filter says that water in (Seattle PU) is 70, the TDS meters from Amazon say it is 35-40. The filter says that water output is 4, standalone meters think it is 7-9.
This water filtration unit is easy to use. There are number of videos on the manufacturer’s website that explains the operation. It is nice that this is a no plumbing installation needed water filter system and can be easily maintained without the need to call a technician for filter change and maintenance. The remaining water with contaminants can be used for household purposes and it need not be wasted. Water tastes clean. Stay hydrated and stay happy!!!
It was so worth the purchase, just the peace of mind alone was well worth it but add in how great the water tastes is such a bonus! We love drinking this water! We don't taste that metal taste in the water and the water feels hydrating. It taste so good we drink it straight without adding in flavor now! We chose this machine for a few reasons; it's a countertop version so when we snow bird we can bring it with us and not worry about it leaking like an under cabinet would be at risk for. We like that we can drive with it (we just put it back in the box and take with us). Its got great reviews, and it even has a ph balance filter in the canister. We bought a 2nd canister that way we are never without water. Lastly, only drawback, this would not be for an older person without muscle strength because it requires heavy lifting of the water reserve to fill and empty by removing and putting in but for someone who is under age of 70 its a great choice! Hope this helps!
