Nordic Naturals Ultimate 1280mg Omega-3 and 100mg CoQ10 for Heart and Brain Health, 120 Capsules

I love this product in preventing horrific pain during menses - prevents me from having to get a morphine, or, in the past 9 years, Ketorolac shot. This has been an answer to my daily prayers to God for pain relief for the past 22 years. I need this product; really need it. This capsuled product is better for me than the liquid as they started putting sesame seed oil in the liquid bottle varieties about 2 years ago. I am allergic to seeds. So, I live in the middle of the southeastern California desert. The UPS delivery personel declares that the back of their UPS truck, where the packages are transported, averages a temperature of 150' F throughout the summer. I can't seem to find a way to contact the seller & request that they package my products with a gel/ice pack...or 2. I found this to be a great idea when I chose to purchase 2 organic lip balm products on Amazon in early June, and, without requesting, the seller shipped them with 2 ice packs! WONDERFUL! When I have received the Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega CoQ10 product, time & again, the bottle is extremely, extremly hot to the touch. This is fish oil! It's the last thing that I would want exposed to heat - especially 150' F for many hours. I use about 3, 60-capsule bottles a month. I could buy large quantities only during cooler months, but that will not help me until November when we have mid-day temperatures in the 70's & 80's. And, I must add, that gelatin, whether vegetarian, or not, is highly permeable to fish oil - shelf life is very short. So, I don't really want to buy more than 1 month's supply at a time. For the FIRST TIME with this product, after ordering it for a few years on either Amazon or from the Nordic Naturals Website, the capsules were all melted together. Just frustrating that there is non return policy. I have been using this product for a while. Long story short, I am on warfarin for a mechanical valve and recently had an increase in my cholesterol and triglycerides. Doctor prescribed a statin for the cholesterol. On the statin alone, I was still experiencing high numbers but improved. I knew fish oil would help but also heard the COQ10 goes great with a statin. So, I began taking this product. I went in for a blood draw for my INR (associated with the warfarin and you don't have to fast for this test). They accidentally drew the lipid and I hadn't fasted. I actually had 3 eggs with 1/2 avocado about an hour before. My numbers were better than ever before! I discussed it with my cardiologist and he agreed that adding this product to the statin is what made the difference. God Bless Nordic Naturals for this unique, effective product!!

Nordic Naturals is a fantastic company to buy any Omega-3 based products. They fish off of clean Scandinavian waters but are careful not to over-fish. I have rarely ever had fishy burps with their brand. Some of my colleagues recommend this brand to their patients as do I. I especially love the Ultimate Omega + CoQ10 because it gives you more bang for your money. If you are using omega-3's to lower your triglycerides this has the right amount of EPA and DHA that the American Heart Association recommends so is therefore pharmaceutical grade as opposed to other brands. The Coenzyme Q10 is important as it re-energizes the heart and plays a vital role in overall energy production by helping to renew ATP. As we age our bodies natural store of CoQ10 decreases. CoQ10 is also reduced by all statins (cholesterol lowering medications). Therefore anyone taking a statin drug (Lipitor, Crestor, Simvastatin etc) should definitely supplement with CoQ-10. Better yet get off of the statins as they are very dangerous drugs especially for women. I was once taking 40mg of Simvastatin dailyt and I developed wide-spread muscle aches and pains and short term memory loss. Against my doctors orders I stopped taking it immediately causing my symptoms to disappear within 2 days and I lowered cholesterol and triglycerides though diet, exercise and natural supplements.

Gels stuck like jelly and very hard to separate each other. All containers in my order have same issue. It's stressful to detach 2 gels each day. I haven't had such issue with ultimate omega without CoQ10

I love this brand! Whenever I learn about a supplement and its most bio available form, I search the internet for a good option. Every time a Nordic Naturals product shows up on my short list! I used to think the price was a little high but now that I realize what an excellent product I’m getting, I find them to be very reasonably priced for what I get! It’s gotten to the point that o don’t have to do my exhaustive searched anymore. I just go right to the Nordic Naturals page on Amazon and I am never disappointed

I'm really happy with these supplements. I've used other brands of Omega 3 supplements and was cursed with "fish burps" throughout the day. I haven't noticed any sort of fishy flavor coming back to haunt me with these. They're still a decent sized supplement, so I typically start with them and then move on to the smaller ones. If you can't swallow large pills, you might want to keep looking. I feel like they go down pretty easily with a big gulp of water, though.

Love the product but hate the USPS! Still haven’t got pills yet but that is our post office for you. It was delivered next day and they held it because I am a business! I just wish we could pick another deliver method!

Solid company but the triglyceride form has better bioavailability. Not going to reorder but switch to Innovix Labs

I'm a huge fan of Nordic Naturals, as I believe their products are truely higher quality than any typical store brand. I'm a fan not just based on the labeling on the bottle that says so, but by medical tests that back up the claims. My father has heart issues, triglycerides keep increasing, despite overall other great health. He was taking an Omega 3 he got at Walmart, like 1000 capsules for $5. Go figure what kind of quality you can get for $5. He said he would take 3-5 of the generic Omega 3, considering that they probably weren't as potent as advertised. No changes after months. Finally, I bought him a 6 month supply of the Omega 1000mg with CoQ10 (which is great for heart health), he said he felt a difference in a month. In 2 months, his triglycerides dropped dramatically on his tests at the Dr. His Dr had asked what he started doing differently to have such a profound improvement. The only change was this supplement! Not surprisingly, pharmaceutical companies are jumping on the Omega 3 bandwagon, and are now formulating a more potent version which will be sold with a prescription, rather than over the counter. Do your research where other Omega 3's come from. Nordic Naturals derives from fish meat, not fish skin, not fish scales, not scraps left over from food production. This creates a big difference. You pay for the quality you receive. I've personally been using Nordic Naturals for 6+ yrs.

Used to be clear covering but now black. A few were pink and goopy on inside. Not using them. Others were yellow which seems reasonable since lemon flavored. Won’t buy again. Used to trust this brand.

I tried these about 6 months ago and must say, compared to other brands, this definitely did not give me the burps or any fishy taste. I feel a bit more energetic and it has been helping my blood pressure go down along with eating better and getting in at least some kind of exercise 3-4 times a week. I’m on my second third bottle now and will keep it going.

I have never had an HDL over 41 (I am 49 years old). I ate walnuts and avocadoes. I used olive oil and avocado oil. My HDL did not budge. After taking Nordic Naturals Omega with Q10 everyday for a year, my HDL was 67!! I could not believe it. The pill is big but it is soft and smooth, so I find it easy to get down. I have never noticed a fishy odor. I strongly urge anyone with a low HDL to try this product, but make sure to take it every day.

I use this brand a lot. It is very difficult to find it at such a great price. Fresh pack with an expiration date that shows it’s freshness. Definitely will purchase again.

Highly recommended from my midwives, Nordic Naturals are great! I opted for the larger container since I am 6 months pregnant and will need to continue consuming through the remainder of my pregnancy. Most importantly, I have never burped up a fish flavor taking this brand - can't really taste the lemon flavor but that's not the reason I bought it. Highly recommend!

I'd rather take 4 smaller pills than 2 of these monsters. I decided to bite down and after realizing that the majority of the capsule shell, the oil inside wasn't that bad. It wasn't too fishy, and might just be the way I end up taking the rest of this bottle.

These are really good. And Nordic is a trusted brand. Have tried so many different Omega brands and they all repeat on me. Thankfully these do not. And they have a bonus of added CoQ10 . Little pricey but really notice a difference when taking them. Have purchased many times and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.

It’s hard to say how much it helps until I was out for a month. I was more sluggish, had more pain and more blah in general. There is very little taste to the pills and no burps. I trust this company. I have bought from them for years and have yet to get a bad product.

The pills are larger but not a big deal for me. I did notice that in the photo the capsules are golden yellow while mine a black. Would be nice to have the expected color confirmed. I’ve been taking fish oil and CoQ10 for years and this combination gives me the same benefit in fewer pills.

When item is shipped USPS it is usually not a good outcome. In this case all supplements were placed in the mailbox and within 20 minutes it was a solid block and in usable.

I’ve been US using this product for years. Easy to swallow. I was told CoQ10 should be taken if one takes cholesterol medication so I do.

This is my go to Omega supplement as it’s high quality plus has the addition of CoQ10. As I went to reorder, the price has gone up $30 in just a couple of months!! Insane. What is going on Nordic Naturals?

Absolutely no fish burp which is the main reason I stopped taking these things to begin with but they have excellent health benefits. I highly recommend them! It should be noted that these pills have a dramatic impact on prevention of blood clots in the lungs! I marked them one star for pain relief because that's not what they are for.

I hate how expensive these are. For my husband and I to take 2 each daily it is pricey. These were recommended by our biofeedback lady. To cut cost we take 1 of these and 1 krill oil, rather than 2 of these daily. Don't know if they are working or doing anything for us.

I’m 62 and had shoulder and hip pain on a regular basis. This is my second order of this product, and since starting it my pain level is down from a constant 9 to a sporadic 2. I have tried other joint supplements before and none of them has given me the relief this one has. I highly recommend Nordic Naturals as it has no aftertaste, and even though it is a fairly large pill isn’t hard to swallow.

Omg, my BP was 160/90 I was put on lisinipril. I started taking these, after a couple weeks my BP dropped significantly I had to go off lisinipril and now I only take these. I do try to watch my sugar and salt intake but not everyday. Doesn’t matter BP stays under 140 now.

I've used the Nordic Natural Ultimate Omega for years. It has the higher dose of the Omega 3, plus the CQ10 so I am taking one less pill a day for my heart health.
